Textual Editing

As part of a graduate course I took at Brigham Young University, I created a textual editing portfolio. It includes my work transcribing handwritten documents, tracking multiple versions of written pieces, creating researched annotations for poetry, and following editing style guides.

This portfolio demonstrates how editorial treatments of texts can change how readers are introduced to authors, both the versions of the texts they encounter and the impressions of the authors that they are given. It also portrays skills necessary for ethical and academically rigorous treatments of texts by editors.
